After 18.3 miles we have a bit of swelling. Here’s how you deal with that!!!
We are so very thankful that we have clarity and confidence in making choices through our day. Do we stop here? Which albergue do we choose? It is so amazing, though. We end up in just the right place where our every need is met!
Today I am thankful for so much. I am thankful for this sign that I witnessed this morning:
(City of my heritage)
– A good night’s sleep
– The pilgrim-friendly city of Logrono
– Overcast skies and cool breeze all day
– The town of Navarrete that opened her breathtaking church for us
– The reverse of our usual climbs – today a rocky ascent
And smooth descent (Gentle on the knees)
– Amazing sleeping accommodations again tonight
– Our strong backs that, evidently, can quite easily handle over 18 miles
– Our Lord, with Whom we begin each day, Who sustains and protects us, Who guides all our steps and Who is our constant companion on this incredible journey.
