Day Seven – Torres Del Rio to Logrono

We had another early start at 500 am and got into Logrono just as it was beginning to get HOT! We walked 13 miles, and at one point we officially passed the 100-miles-walked mark!  This is how my pilgrim credential looks at this point:

There was a very steep climb at one point –

We found a great albergue tonight – a dream come true!

We have our own room, our own bathroom, they washed and dried our clothes for us, lovely, soft, sweet smelling towels, a room fan (!) a glorious breeze entering from our own balcony, a bath mat, lovely shampoo and body wash, comfy mattresses, soft sheets – it is beyond anything we’ve had so far. All for about $14 each.

After a warm shower, it’s time to tend to the feet!

We’re off now to a Pilgrim Mass – Mass dedicated to the pilgrims. They happen everyday, I think, in towns all along the Camino, Pinch me. I still can’t believe I’m doing this!
